I received an awesome compliment from my neighbor recently... She said, "You remind me of a kaleidoscope--full of color & bursting with ideas!" I totally love that image - what a cool compliment! So I wrote a song about it. :)
lyrics
Kaleidoscope
Pieces of a crumbling past
Promises that never last
Programmed in way where we fail to win
Flesh it out, then let it go
Shift the form and you will know
We're broken down before we rise again
Kaleidoscope
kaleidoscope
Particles are finally free
Changing for the world to see
So watch all the colors I can be
when I turn into me
It is time for being new
Living now authentic, true
Beginnings will arrive after the end
I won't cry a single tear
and you won't see me disappear
but I can see the world from here, my friend
Kaleidoscope
a kaleidoscope
Particles are finally free
Changing for the world to see
So watch all the colors I can be
when I turn into me
bridge:
My soul has never shone so bright
it drowns the darkness of the night
I’m sure that I can see the light
of God from here
The truth is burning in my soul
the cage of mind is finally flown ... away
just left my voice to say
Kaleidoscope
a kaleidoscope
Particles are finally free
Changing for the world to see
So watch all the colors I can be
Kaleidoscope
a kaleidoscope
Particles are finally free
Changing for the world to see
So watch all the colors I can be
when I turn into me
