Go Slow 02:03
Go Slow Everything here is going to break Nothing will last that you can take into the air when you lose your mind Where it all goes we never know Leaves falling down inside the cold Just as you fall that’s when it flows Go slow Slowly… oh… Run to the hills when you start to bleed None unaware can fill your need Where we go on, you only dream Life slips away inside the seams When it comes back we never know Winter falls deep inside the snow Just as you fall that’s when it flows Go slow Slowly… oh… Ohh… Slowly… oh… We go So slow Then we’re gone for a while Music & Lyrics by Jennifer Hughes © 11/17/14 Performed by Skylar Drior

Real 02:24
Real I know that we’ve been through it I hardly meant to do it I need another chance The rules—they are all changing Just time for rearranging This time you wear the pants You’ll be the man… A big misunderstanding but fantasize your planning to fit the way you feel A big misapprehension to justify your tension Next time we seal the deal You want it real I know that strangers do it We’re finally going through it So let’s have another chance You don’t have time to fake it to scorn it or forsake it so let’s just join the dance I’ll be the man… A big misunderstanding but fantasize your planning to fit the way you feel A big misapprehension to justify your tension Next time we seal the deal You want it real You want it real Music & Lyric by Jennifer Hughes © September 26, 2013 Performed by Skylar Drior

Havisham House I’m linked to the past And it’s playing again I’m stuck in the part where I lost all my friends And steeper a staircase I never have climbed So much to lose But I know it’s time In this Havisham house of intimate detail Turning my back on my only betrayal In this Havisham house of critical yearning The things I love most are the ones I am burning Spiders are swinging and casting their spells Shadows of cobwebs and visions of hell I know that it’s wrong to leave you at the altar I ran out of youth but never quite faltered till now My garters have long since turned to dust my wedding band still weeps of rust In this Havisham house of ghastly precision It may seem compelled but I’ve made my decision In this Havisham house of critical yearning The things I love most are the ones I am burning… up Music & Lyrics by Jennifer Hughes © September 5, 2013 Arranged by Kristi-Leah Bradley Performed by Skylar Drior

We Are One 01:42
The youth in their words demand to be heard and the teacher, the student wherever it's prudent will be taught by them slowly and learn from them fully Then living by karma they hear the alarm of the people beneath them and those who entreat them for refuge, for mercy to join in the heresy The oppression of the lesser the ethics they tether will police them with keys that will finally release them Then used up and bruised up the question of who's up next to fight them, indict them and finally requite them The oppressed, the oppressor the greater, the lesser and oft trading places they do it in stages The story repeated but all that we needed were those souls who swore when dissenting, lamenting but never repenting that the world left depleted was too unfair a burden the resources spurting and gushing incessant they burn the transcendent Till none left to offer the gifts to be proffered to the children who need them Who ultimately will lead them?

Like I Do 02:20
Like I Do You don't know me like I do my mind doesn't belong in your universe You'd like me to leave but I got here first Did ya think I was just using borrowed words? Bound by desire deconstruction of the past the falling away of the mask Places I thought I had to go How I got here from there I don't know I wanted that pretty, pretty picture show Something to hold onto, you know? While the reality of the masses melted inside the glasses of ice with rum No reflection shows what I've become Nothing shows you what I've done Too tired to come back I tried to come back From the echo in the void So I could mirror you While no one could hear you Tried to make things clear for you Once again Propaganda dupes the third eye makes you feel you’re mortal that you’ll die It was my experience of you that made me high you didn't even have to participate while I spun out of control into the vortex of your shadow show I finally reap what I sow I finally reaped what I sowed You don't know you like I do Your mind only seems to run in loops I've seen them all--there's nothing new I know you're programmed to screw it up You don't know you like I do You whisper every shout Reality burned you out Guess you're stuck here now I tried to help you end your doubt All my pain turns into art it's the process that exacts and crushes my heart a little more every time though I was born to shine so were you Why should I be mad? I'm hardwired to be taken for granted Yeah now you know the truth I'm programmed to screw it up You don't know me like I do You never saw things through just left it all in the queue I’m better here without you alone outside the zoo

God for a Day Lookin’ at the world through a stained glass window changed the color of the soul Paintings start to fade to grey Daily grind divides you whole Play Blind faith preachin’ on cocaine Play…. Slow hand turned a mortal man into God for a day Lookin’ at the crowd through the smoke-filled screaming wonderin’ when you lost control Everything you trust fades away Spotlight steals your soul Play Blind faith preachin’ on cocaine Play…. Slow hand turned a mortal man into God for a day Jennifer Hughes lyrics & music October 25, 2014 Arranged by Kristi-Leah Bradley Performed by Skylar Drior

Vision 03:05
Vision You won’t take a chance ‘cause you’re afraid to fall But you’re never better off if you don’t try at all You won’t join the dance without some guarantee But it’s your chance to live as who you want to be You can’t see what’s inside till you open up your mind and your vision extends beyond your eyes When you walk through that door you will always feel sure that the keys to the truth in your life were your right You won’t call the shots Won’t be the one to blame But if you don’t make a choice your life will stay the same You could take a chance on authenticity Beware that you might end up half as strange as me! You can’t see what’s inside till you open up your mind and your vision extends beyond your eyes When you walk through that door you will always feel sure that the keys to the truth in your life were your right (And) I am just downloading from my castles in the sky ‘cause if I can imagine it then it comes alive!   You can’t see what’s inside till you open up your mind and your vision extends beyond your eyes When you walk through that door you will always feel sure that the keys to the truth in your life were your right all along… were your right Lyrics by Jennifer L. Hughes © June 17, 2015 Music by Jennifer L. Hughes & Kristi-Leah Bradley Performed by Skylar Drior

House of Mind I tripped inside the house of mind in a room unrecognized I should take a photograph of fading scenes all flashing back My muse is playing all the time Between the walls But she can fly far beyond this vast confine I let her soar outside the lines My house has no windows, has no doors The walls don't have ceilings, don't have floors The yellow room is where I'm bright it makes the sun shine through the night but I am in the blue room every time it's time to shine Rooms are just for memories Hiding safe, I hold the key dead until I need them to be alive I decorate with pretty thoughts it's just a spell; casts lies I bought if I could see beyond the black I'd meet you in the cul-de-sac My muse is playing all the time Between the walls But she can fly far beyond this vast confine I let her soar outside the lines My house has no windows, has no doors The walls don't have ceilings, don't have floors The yellow room is where I'm bright it makes the sun shine through the night but I am in the blue room every time it's time to shine Rooms are just for memories Hiding safe, I hold the key dead until I need them to be alive Bridge/C Part: Stash my secrets in my suitcase—I’d like to move away But I’d take the chaos with me So I might as well stay The yellow room is where I'm bright it makes the sun shine through the night but I am in the blue room every time it's time to shine Rooms are just for memories Hiding safe, I hold the key dead until I need them to be alive Lyrics Jennifer L. The Puppet Maker’s Hand When the moon is high and resistance low You will find her in your dreams When she calls to you You will follow her inside the endless seams You once spoke her mind through her voice It felt so good to have a choice She once moved at your command Then you raised your eyes to ascertain It’s a tricky one The Puppet Maker’s hand When the pain is high and resilience low She will find you without a doubt When you look above You will find her soul floating all blissed-out You once spoke her mind through her voice It felt so good to have a choice She once moved at your command Then you raised your eyes to ascertain It’s a tricky one The Puppet Maker’s hand Bridge: You were her once and now she’s you Nothing more to do but be here, be here and now You once spoke her mind through her voice It felt so good to have a choice She once moved at your command Then you raised your eyes to ascertain It’s a tricky one The Puppet Maker’s hand Lyrics by Jennifer L. Freedoms 01:48
Freedoms I was having a lack attack so to put my directive in perspective I decided to detach, relapse to my lower ways for days and days I swapped the pain that passes with the pain that stays my mind making assessments no time for redressment no way to make amends the world pretends to see me but it can't realization subject to my interpretation demanding understanding of the need for rebranding an integration proclamation brings me out to a divided nation there are days when no one catches my vibe all alone for the ride I just hide myself to abide… I capture the rapture inside and I am free.
